16th World Congress On Public Health – Rome 2020: Public health for the future of humanity: analysis, advocacy and action

On October 2020, public health professionals, students, and community will gather in Rome, Italy, for the 16th World Congress on Public Health. This is an important event that takes place once every three years in a different location around the world. In this intensive time of collaboration, public health professionals and advocates set the direction for the new agenda of current global health initiatives.
Partners and supporting organizations will be the Ministry of Health, the National Institute of Health (ISS), the Italian Medicines Agency (AIFA), the Municipality of Rome, the Regional Government of Lazio, La Sapienza University of Rome, the Catholic University of Rome, Farmindustria, and several Italian associations for healthcare prevention. Co-chairs of the Conference will be Carlo Signorelli – Professor of Public Health at the University of Parma, and the President of the Italian Society of Hygiene , preventive Medicine and Public Health – and Walter Ricciardi, President of the Italian National Institute of Health.
